Texas Eclipse took place this past weekend in Burnet, TX, and although it was cut short due to a severe weather warning it will still such an amazing festival.
The festival was planned around the solar eclipse with stages named after celestial bodies. We had the Eclipse Stage, The Sky Stage, Moon Stage, Sun Stage, Ether Stage, Earth Stage and LoneStar Stage. The line up featured various genres from live bands, house & techno acts to bass heavy performances.
Aside from the stacked line up, what really set this festival apart was the other actives that were going on throughout the festival. There were special speakers throughout ranging from astronauts to wellness/healing experts, they also had immersive art spaces, yoga, breath work activities.
The festival was held out in Reveille Peak Ranch which turned out to be such a beautiful space. Located out in the hills, there was greenery everywhere and a lake to cool off in. At night all the stars were visible and made it such a serene atmosphere.
In light of the tragic events that did unfold, I do want to reiterate that it is important that we look out for each other in any festival. Days on end of being out does take a toll on the body so make sure that we stick to the people we went with, make sure we eat and stay hydrated throughout.
