ILLfest: The Original Street Art and Music Festival

ART, MUSIC, LOVE. Those are the words that are used to describe ILLfest, set to take place May 30th and June 1st in Austin, TX. Already on its year 7, this year's festivities is set to be an "unprecedented display of music and street art"

This 2 day festival, has a layout of 3 different stages with artists like Wooli, Tape B b2b Peekaboo and Liquid Stranger scheduled to perform. Aside from the star studded line up, what really makes this festival one of a kind is the live art they host througout the ground. Expect to be mesmerized by some of the top street and graffiti artists in our region. Check out the weekends music schedule as well as the live art line up.

Tips to getting through this weekend:

1. make sure to wear sun block and to hydrate throughout the day. Texas Heat is already in full force.

2. Make sure to place plenty of breaks as 3 days of sets can tire out even the strongest amongst us.

3. Make sure to have Plan B, Plan C and even Plan D by marking a meet up spot and time. Make sure you make arrangements to have someone to be the sober driver.

4. Make sure to time stamp your text messages. Example: We are at the Illpickles stage towards the back right side. 9:15pm

5. Be respectful and remember to say something, if you see something.
