Ubbi Dubbi Festival is once again set to transform Fort Worth into a destination for electronic music fans across the country. Returning April 24–25 to Panther Island Pavilion, the festival’s seventh edition promises its most immersive and musically diverse experience yet.

This year’s theme, “Into the Abyss,” pushes Ubbi Dubbi beyond a traditional festival format and into a fully realized environment. Set along the Trinity River, attendees will step into a glowing, underwater-inspired world brought to life through LED bubble tunnels, projection-mapped visuals, and bioluminescent design elements that blur the line between stage and surroundings.

But while the visuals set the tone, the lineup is what drives the energy.

Ubbi Dubbi continues to expand beyond the stage, offering a festival experience rooted

in interaction and community.

Attendees can take part in a festival-wide treasure hunt, uncovering hidden surprises throughout the grounds, while exploring a curated mix of food, retail, and art installations. Vendors range from fan-favorite eats like pizza and noodle concepts to live art showcases and creative retail spaces.

The festival also places a strong emphasis on wellness and safety, partnering with organizations like End Overdose and Americares to provide on-site support and resources. VIP attendees will have access to elevated amenities, including hydration stations, beauty activations, and dedicated relaxation spaces.

Of course, no lineup is complete without the voices behind it. As Ubbi Dubbi approcahes, we asked some of this year's artists how theyre tapping into the "Into the Abyss" theme-and what their pre-festival rituals look like before stepping in front of thousands.

1.  How does this year's "Into The Abyss" theme influence your set at Ubbi Dubbi this year? (think otherworldly seascape, LED bubble tunnels, glowing reef structures, projection-mapped ocean environments, and neon sea creatures)

I’m leaning into the feeling of being pulled under. Not just high energy the whole time, but letting it breathe, get a little darker, more hypnotic. I want people to feel like they’re inside the set, not just hearing it. Like you lose track of where you are for a second.

2. Describe your set using only ocean-related words

Depth. Pressure. Drift.

3. If your music were a sea creature, what would it be and why?

An octopus. Intelligent, adaptable, a little unpredictable. It can move smooth and effortless but also shift energy instantly. There’s complexity under the surface, not just one layer to it.

4. What are your top 3 festival essentials (besides your USB and water bottle)

My ksubi sunglasses, Fenty lip gloss, Headphones I trust with my life.

5. Do you have any pre-set rituals before going on stage?

I like to decompress in my room, throw on some R&B, have a few snacks, and just get into the vibe. Nothing too crazy, just locking into my own energy before I step out.

6. Go-to snack or drink backstage and why?

Something light like fruit and electrolytes. I don’t like feeling heavy before a set, I need to feel quick and energized, not slowed down.

7.  One unexpected item you always travel or perform with?

Jewelry. It’s part of my armor. It puts me in character the second I put it on.

1. How does this year's "Into The Abyss" theme influence your set at Ubbi Dubbi this year? (think otherworldly seascape, LED bubble tunnels, glowing reef structures, projection-mapped ocean environments, and neon sea creatures)

I want the crowd to feel like they’re fully inside it, like not just watching a set, but experiencing this whole underwater world with me!

2. Describe your set using only ocean-related words

Pressure, Whirlpool, and Riptide espescially… something about it just pulls people into my set and keeps them there.

3. If your music were a sea creature, what would it be and why?

I’d be a piranha, because it’s fast and has lots of relentless chaotic energy!!

4. What are your top 3 festival essentials (besides your USB and water bottle)

Definitely earplugs.. even though I’m definitely guilty of not using them as much as I should.

Eyelash glue, because you just never know haha

Deodorant… I’m a sweaty girly…

5. Do you have any pre-set rituals before going on stage?

I’m usually pretty locked in and focused before my set. I’m always working on my set in the greenroom making some last minute changes. Other than that, I don't have a “pre-set ritual”, I’ll usually make content with my photographer and take pre-set pictures around the festival or venue!

6. Go-to snack or drink backstage and why?

LAYS of courseee!! (Salt & Vinegar is the best) It’s a quick light snack to have before my set.

7. One unexpected item you always travel or perform with?

My vitamins! Traveling can be rough, so I try to stay on top of it!

1.  How does this year's "Into The Abyss" theme influence your set at Ubbi Dubbi this year? (think otherworldly seascape, LED bubble tunnels, glowing reef structures, projection-mapped ocean environments, and neon sea creatures)

With this year's theme I wanted to have a set that is very fluid from start to finish, going between different styles and genres and further blending the Kai Wachi vs. Cry Wachi parts of my show. You never know what you're going to run into in the abyss, so there's a few surprise moments that will be fun to drop on the crowd.

2. Describe your set using only ocean-related words

Davy Jones' Locker.

3. If your music were a sea creature, what would it be and why?

I think I'd have to go with a giant squid. They're massive, they can change color and they're quite ominous, but when they attack it's like an ambush.

4. What are your top 3 festival essentials (besides your USB and water bottle)

Caffeine. Lots of food. Chapstick.

5. Do you have any pre-set rituals before going on stage?

No pre-set rituals really. I just like to relax before my sets. Save my energy for the crowd!

6. Go-to snack or drink backstage and why?

Protein Bar and water is my go-to, but if I need some caffeine then a Gorilla Mind for sure.

7. One unexpected item you always travel or perform with?

Definitely a kindle so I can read when I’m bored traveling.

1. How does this year's "Into The Abyss" theme influence your set at Ubbi Dubbi this year?

Even if I’m not literally playing from inside a bubble tunnel, "Into The Abyss" is all about immersion and making sure this rave feel like you're diving into a completely different environment from the first track to the last.

2. Describe your set using only ocean-related words

Swells and surges in energy. Floating melodies. Powerful, crashing, heavy drops.

3. If your music were a sea creature, what would it be and why?

It would have to be a Great White Shark. It’s stereotypically Australian (like me), it’s sleek and has those almost graceful movements when it’s cruising like my melodic tracks, but it carries a heavy power that definitely comes out when I play my harder records.

4. What are your top 3 festival essentials (besides your USB and water bottle)

Immunity Shots: Staying healthy on the road is priority #1.

High-Fidelity Earplugs: An incredibly important piece that none of us should be forgetting!

My Whoop: I love seeing the data on how much cardio I actually do during a set and then how terrible my sleep is afterwards.

5. Do you have any pre-set rituals before going on stage?

Running to the bathroom to pee and then frantically pacing up and down backstage.

6. Go-to snack or drink backstage and why?

A white monster and a protein bar. Incredibly basic but necessary.

7. One unexpected item you always travel or perform with?

I always have digestive enzymes on me—traveling means eating at weird food at weird hours so you gotta stay ready. Also, you’ll always find 4 or 5 rubber ducks in my headphone case. Fans keep giving them to me, so now they’ve just become part of the touring crew.

  1. How does this year's "Into The Abyss" theme influence your set at Ubbi Dubbi this year? (think otherworldly seascape, LED bubble tunnels, glowing reef structures, projection-mapped ocean environments, and neon sea creatures)

I love the playful and immersive theme of “Into The Abyss”. The theme pushes me to explore the deeper, more hypnotic layers of my sound while still keeping that sense of movement and play.  I imagine it like diving into an otherworldly glowing ocean - immersive currents pulling you closer and neon sea creatures welcoming you to unexpected moments that keep everything joyful and mystical.

2.  Describe your set using only using sea words.

A deep current pulling you into the abyss - smooth tides, rolling waves and a hypnotic undertow. Bioluminescent pulses flicker through darker waters, while playful dolphins cut through the flow. Pressure builds, the swell rises, and suddenly you’re lifted - breaking the surface into the light, weightless and free.

3.      If your music were a sea creature, what would it be and why?

If my music was a sea creature, it would be a manta ray that’s made friends with a dolphin - deep, flowy, and hypnotic, but with these playful unexpected bursts of energy that lift everything into the light.

4.              What are your top 3 festival essentials (besides your USB and water bottle)

Headphones, earplugs - have to protect my ears, and comfortable shoes. Locked in, protected and ready to move.

5.              Do you have any pre-set rituals before going on stage?

I use visualization and get really centered in my breath. I lock in to the beat. Then it’s remembering my intention, and a moment of silent prayer. Body movement always feels good to shake things around.

6.              Go-to snack or drink backstage and why?

Protein bar because they aren’t too messy and the protein sustains my appetite. Big bonus if they have some chocolate. Stick of cheese because I love cheese and some kombucha keeps my energy steady.

7.              One unexpected item you always travel or perform with?

I always love to perform with two of my favorite crystal rings. I love their energy and they help me to feel locked in and grounded.

  1. How does this year's "Into The Abyss" theme influence your set at Ubbi Dubbi this year? (think otherworldly seascape, LED bubble tunnels, glowing reef structures, projection-mapped ocean environments, and neon sea creatures)

I’m all about the otherworldly, neon vibes already! That's half of what TINYKVT is, so hopefully things will align perfectly.

  1. Describe your set using only ocean-related words

Bioluminescent, Swell, Shimmer.

  1. If your music were a sea creature, what would it be and why?

A Jellyfish, because some of them glow and don’t need a male counterpart to procreate hahaha…the ultimate cvnty fish.

  1. What are your top 3 festival essentials (besides your USB and water bottle)

Burts Beeswax chapstick, earplugs, comfy combat boots.

  1. Do you have any pre-set rituals before going on stage?

I have fairly bad anxiety before sets, so I really love having friends backstage with me to distract and hype me up before I go onstage. It sets a vibe for sure!

  1. Go-to snack or drink backstage and why?

I don't drink alcohol really, so for me it’s usually a celsius and then cheese and crackers or some fruit. I’m unfortunately fairly boring backstage. BUT if you bring me pokemon cards in the green room, you're my new best friend.

  1. One unexpected item you always travel or perform with?

For a few years, a fan gave me a fuzzy worm I kept in my pocket onstage as a good luck charm but I lost it recently, which is super sad. I need a new fan trinket to replace it!

1. How does this year's "Into The Abyss" theme influence your set at Ubbi Dubbi this year? (think otherworldly seascape, LED bubble tunnels, glowing reef structures, projection-mapped ocean environments, and neon sea creatures)

I treated the set like a dive. It starts at the surface with rap and emo dubstep edits—familiar, emotional, easy to sink into. But the deeper it goes, the heavier and more bass-driven it becomes. Those emo and rap elements already carry a lot of feeling, so I used them as the entry point, then gradually flipped that emotion into aggressive dubstep drops as the pressure builds.

As you descend, it feels like moving through different layers of the ocean—each one more intense, more immersive—until you’re fully going into the abyss. That’s where it gets a little uncomfortable in the best way: darker, heavier, more chaotic, but still hypnotic.

It’s that contrast—pretty to chaotic, surface to abyss—that really defines the experience.

2. Describe your set using only ocean-related words

Tide. Echo. Wave. Glow. Depth.

3. If your music were a sea creature, what would it be and why?

Jellyfish. Like a jellyfish, my sound pulls you in with hypnotic, flowing energy—those atmospheric builds and catchy vocal moments that feel almost weightless. But underneath that beauty, there’s a sting.

4. What are your top 3 festival essentials (besides your USB and water bottle) Sunglasses, Wipes, Sanitizer

5. Do you have any pre-set rituals before going on stage?

Tequila

6. Go-to snack or drink backstage and why?

Water and baked hot cheetos

7. One unexpected item you always travel or perform with?

I always travel with menthol peppermint oil.
