Mexican stamp on House Music

One word that stood out to me this weekend was #heritage.

IYKYK presented their first edition event this weekend in McAllen, Tx. Headlining the event were top Mexican DJ/Producers Tom & Collins accompanied by massive local talent.

Sounds that we’re prevalent throughout the night we’re deeply rooted Mexican sounds. Lately these sounds have made an appearance in mainstream house music all over the world so it was amazing hearing their presence at the IYKYK event where these sounds are not just heard but lived on a daily basis.
