Get the Plug In with Electric Forest

While Electric Forest 2024 is sold out, there is still a chance to attend the festival, with a purpose. In a partnership with Festival HQ, patrons are invited to apply and get involved in various community building and creative programs. 

In a total of seven different programs to get involved with, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Each program is designed with the festival’s values in mind: inclusivity, acceptance, self-expression, community and creation. 

The first Plug In to get involved with is the Art Installation Sponsorship. This Plug In allows artists to let their creativity fly and create original art pieces into the Forest. Electric Forest is known as one of the most beautiful music festivals globally, and this mainly has to do with the music and the beautiful art pieces that are placed around the forest each year. This is the 12th year of this Plug In opportunity, the longest running one. 

The next way to get involved are Brainery Workshops. These workshops take place at the Brainery, which serves as a platform for education. Through workshops and classes, Forest attendees can attend sessions at the Brainery and learn about whatever they please. From meditation to play to meet-ups, the Brainery offers unlimited possibilities. Plug In submissions for the Brainery do not have to be limited to a certain topic. 

The Wish Machine is the third Plug In encourages participants to commit to spreading

positivity through charity. Similar to Make-A-Wish, Plug In members of the Wish Machine pledge to make a difference in their own communities, such as collecting donations of meals/money or something else in order to make a wish come true inside the Forest. This past year, Chelsea and David were granted their wish. They committed to donating 1,000 meals to a community in need through the Conscious Alliance, and were granted the wedding of their dreams in the Forest. 

The fourth Plug In, On Air ExtrordinAIRE, calls for radio personalities, behind the scenes technicians and more to partner with the EF Radio team to create content to be featured on EF Radio and year-round. 

The fifth Plug In opportunity is the Chapel Parties for the People Plug In. Calling all party planners, this Plug In seeks event planners and promoters to create the themed party of their dreams. Winners of this Plug In will receive admission into Electric Forest and also produce a party with the Electric Forest team to take place during the festival!

The Sticker Design Contest is the sixth Plug In. The creation of this official festival sticker serves as a memento to all attendees, and is created by one of you! With a theme of Canvas of Kindred Spirits, this Plug-In is simple: design the official sticker for Electric Forest 2024! Submissions must be received by March 15th, 2024. 

Last but not least, the Prize Cart Remix Contest is the seventh Plug In opportunity. The Prize Cart rolls through Forest as headlining sets each night, and provides prizes to festival attendees who help clean up the stage and bring bags of trash to the prize cart. If you win this Plug In, you can be the soundtrack of the prize cart! The original Prize Cart theme was created by Kyle Hollingsworth of the String Cheese Incident. Kyle invites any creative soul to remix his track and be featured on the Prize Cart in 2024.
